Twenty years of commitment have taught us one essential thing: a better quality of life does not depend solely on access to a resource or on meeting a one-time need. It also depends on the quality of human relationships, a sense of belonging to a community, a connection to the natural world, and each person’s ability to act with confidence and dignity.
This conviction lies at the heart of the evolution of L’Occitane en Provence’s philanthropic mission. With “Caring Ties,” we embrace a simple ambition: to strengthen bonds between people and with nature, so we can live together better.

Territories at the heart of our commitment
The Fund supports initiatives in the regions that are deeply rooted in the history and identity of the Maison:

In France, the Fund concentrates its efforts in Provence, primarily across the departments of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Vaucluse, Bouches-du-Rhône, Drôme, Var, Ardèche and Corsica, the region where the brand was born.

In Burkina Faso, a key sourcing region for the Maison.
